Lovely and well hold holiday home in an unsecluded garden in rural and beautiful surroundings. From the holiday home it is a lovely panoramic view over Randsfjorden, one of the largest lakes in Norway. From the calm cultural landscape it is a short distance to the large forrests wide wilderness. During summer it is a lot of opportunities both for swimming and fishing in this area. Either if you choose to go fishing in Randsfjorden or in rivers and forrest lakes, you have good opportunities for a nice catch. The large forest areas is easy accesible with a large network of forrest roads that also is nice biking routes in untouched wilderness and nature where moose and deer is walking around. Here you also can, during late summer and early autumn pick a lot of mushrooms, blueberries and lingonberry. If you are interested in culture, it is a lot to find aroundt Randsfjorden. Here is one of Norways most special art- and cultural museums, "Kistefosmuseet" with its spectacular art museum The Twist only a half an hour drive away by car. On this hike it is also nice to visit Hadeland Glassverk for shopping. In the cafe there it always smells of freshly baked pastries from own bakery. If you like to take a longer trip from the holiday home, it is recommended to take a day trip to Oslo. You will reach Oslo within 2 hours drive.
